Centennial radio 101 FM is pleased to inform you that we are continuing with our monthly concert series, this time focusing on the celebration of valentine’s eve. All the music will be dedicated to love. Pianist Noam Lemish will be joined by Nova Scotian (Canada) singer/songwriter, poet and author Michael Cluett for a musical and poetic collaboration that promises to be unique, spontaneous, exciting and undoubtedly heartfelt.
There will be many kinds of love songs as well as the world premiere of a spontaneous spoken word and musical improvisation collaboration between these two artists! They will make it up on the spot just for you! You won’t want to miss this first of a kind event in Bhutan’s history!
Noam Lemish is an Israeli-American pianist and composer and is currently teaching music at Kilu Music School. In 2008 he released his debut album in the US entitled “Yes And”. Here in Bhutan, in addition to his teaching, he has been hosting radio shows (Deep Listening) on centennial radio every Tuesday at 9pm and the show rebroadcasts every morning at 8am and every evening at 11pm.
Singer/songwriter, poet and author Michael Cluett hails from Nova Scotia. A brilliant, imaginative mind, gifted with the unique ability of using words and song to express a wide scope of emotion, images, and landscapes both internal and external. Michael has come to Bhutan as a part of an artistic pilgrimage consisting of volunteering with the Bhutan Centre for Media Literacy and Democracy, the Youth Development Fund as well as his own spiritual and artistic endeavours.
